Full Circle

So far away
Passing uncharted isles
I look for skylines unseen
exploring in borders

Wandering the outskirts
looking for the way out
of the borderland I am trapped
it has me stuck in limbo

will the day be here
when I look out onto dusty planes
into the rising of another day
escaping endless dawns

looping around in circles
repeating what has always been
seeing what is already seen
feeling old chapters again

hair brushing to the side
in the trails of the wanderer
scraping ancients wounds
reminders of what never existed

it was always meant to be
but never for one like me
they will never see
what it means to me
